Hi,
Can someone provide support with a TCP issue? We have 3 ProSBCs with TCP SIP trunks towards ClearIP platform and the 3 connections are currently down. ClearIP advised they haven’t received TCP SYNC in the last hour.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Hi,

We have seen this before, the cause was that the TCP connection was never established.
In the tcpdump capture, we saw the TMG sent the TCP SYN but never received the SYN-ACK.
So it was a network issue on the customer side.

On your setup, I guess it is a ProSBC, not a TMG, right?
If that is the case, that would be even easier, just to
- Do a tcmdump on the interface that connects the ClearIP.
- Disable and enable the ClearIP NAPs to trigger the initial TCP messages.
- Check the tcpdump capture to see the messages.

Hi,

The TCP connection has been working fine for the last month, so it has been established before. Today it went down on all ProSBCs and TransNexus advised no network issues.

Thanks,

Hi,

The issue is not on the transnexus side, it is the network between the ProSBC to Transnexus.
Take a tcpdump to check you will see what is going on.
