License Question

Hi there,

Our ProSBC instance is running in a KVM virtual machine. We are passing through the native host node CPU type to the virtual machine. If we migrate the virtual machine across our infrastructure to another host with a different CPU model, will this invalidate the license in place on our ProSBC? All other aspects of the VM would remain the same, just a different CPU model.

Hi Daniel,

Yes, once the ProSBC got moved to another environment/instance, the license will be revoked, and you need to have a new license.

But, once you had migrated to a new instance, please just inform us with information obtained from the new ProSBC system,

Hostname
Product key : (which is VTB-xxxx-xxxx)
License seed

All available as seen from web portal -> packages and licenses

Please copy this information in text format (copy and paste), and we would be able to reset it for you and send you a new license for your ProSBC instance.
