Setting Maximum Calls per Sec
I have a problem during my busy hour when some of my customers flood my switch with calls. My SS7 CPU link utilization goes to 100% ( I have two 56K links). I thought if I set some limits on Max Call / Sec that would help to not overrun my SS7 links. I believe this parameter is only used during call setup, and not applicable after the call is connected.
My problem is I dont know what value to use or how to calculate a value based on my switch config and trunking. Any thoughts as to how to calculate this value???
thanks Ron
