SIP Reason cause code passing to the calling party
Hi,
We are setting up a call center client. They rely on SIP codes to decide what to do with calls that don’t connect (like to retry or not a number).
In SBC I have a NAP accepting calls from them, and a route sending all calls from that NAP to our internal Softswitch. For rejected calls, SBC is sending a 603 message to the client instead of the code received from the internal side.
The internal server returned 480, and we send 603 to the customer.
How can I configure SBC to pass that 480 to the client? We need to just pass along whatever comes from the internal server so that the client can correctly classify the call results.

You can use the Reason cause mapping table and send the correct response. Please go to Profiles -> Select the Profile -> Reason cause mapping to select the 480 and check how its behaviour.
