Using HTTPS for WEB GUI
If you created a HTTP service using HTTPS, there are a few things to note when using the HTTPS service.
Initial connection
The web server hosting the Web Portal does not authenticate itself. As a result, a first connection to a Web Portal using HTTPS will display a message indicating that the security certificate is invalid. This is normal and does not affect encryption security. To proceed, simply add an exception to your web browser to access the Web Portal with HTTPS.
URL
When connecting with HTTPS to the Web Portal, the prefix https:// must be explicitly written in the URL, otherwise the connection will try to use HTTP and fail to connect.
